With a charismatic face and passion for acting, Gabriela Spanic has risen to become one of the world’s brightest Latin stars.  Born in Venezuela,  Gaby began her acting career early in life after realizing that her true calling was working in front of a camera and not psychology.  Starting with supporting roles in Venezuelan soap operas, Gaby began her rise to fame in the role of  Rosangelica (1991) with Venevision.  Her career continued to blossom and develop with roles in variety of shows including Mundo de Fieras and La Loba Herida (1992). Producers and Directors quickly realized  Gabriela’s potential and she landed the role of Linda Prado, a villain in the soap opera Morena Calra (1993), which opened the doors to stardom.

After firmly establishing herself as one of Venezuela’s top stars, Gaby starred in Como Tu Ninguna (1994-1995) which became one of the Venezuela’s most successful soap opera.   Como Tu Ninguna was sold in 80 countries around the world and translated in a multiple languages.

Gabriela followed the success of Como Tu Ninguna with a variety of staring roles, including Emiliana in Quirpa de Tres Mujeres (1996) and  Amaranta in En Todo Por Tu Amor (1996).  Recognizing her as one of the fastest rising Latin TV stars,  Mexico-based Televisa offered Gaby the chance to star in La Usupadora.  Working for one of the Latin America’s most well known production company, Gaby delivers the performance of her career playing  the double role of twin girls, the good Paulina and the evil Paola.  The show  is seen in 120 countries world wide and establishes Gaby as one of the world’s top Latin stars.

Following the success of La Usupadora, Televisa rewarded Gaby with a three (3) year contract to work exclusively on Televisa produced soap operas.  During this time, Gabriela continued to impress Mexican and Latin American audiences with roles like Maria del Cielo and Por Tu Amor and sisters Virginia and Vanessa in La Intursa. 

Her tremendous success at Televisa led Telemundo NBC (USA) to become interested in her talents and reward her with an exclusive contract.  Under this agreement, Gaby recently starred in La Prisionera, Telemondo’s top-rated show during its run.
